YEAH laser

YEAH laser is a laser cutting service based in Brighton, which caters to both small and large businesses. The duo behind the company sought a distinctive brand identity to attract new customers whilst remaining in touch with their existing clientele.

As the playful name suggests, YEAH laser exudes a cool, dynamic vibe, not taking itself too seriously. It was crucial to convey this personality in the logo design, balancing a laid-back aesthetic with a touch of corporate professionalism.

Inspiration for the design came from a collaborative mood board I curated with the client, featuring an eclectic mix of contemporary and colourful typography, retro computer game logos, and 80's movie titles.

The challenge was in crafting a relatively busy design that would function effectively as a logo. Additionally, I had to ensure it didn’t look too masculine, given the client's audience - something that was controlled through the use of softened edges and the chosen colour scheme.
